Dyson Heppell

Dyson Heppell is a professional Australian rules footballer playing for the Essendon Football Club in the AFL.

Dyson won the AFL Rising Star award in his first season in 2011, and won a Crichton Medal and All-Australian selection in 2014.

Dyson attended our Melbourne launch at URBNSURF with some of his Essendon teammates, helping our participants learn how to surf and swim. He also enjoys playing ping pong, kicking a footy at the park and fishing days out with our participants.

We love seeing the impact Dyson is having as a support worker on participants and families in Melbourne and can’t wait to see what the future holds!
