Lachie Whitfield

Lachie Whitfield is a professional Australian rules footballer playing for the Greater Western Sydney Giants in the AFL.

Lachie was selected by the GIANTS with pick number one in the 2012 NAB AFL Draft. He made his AFL debut in 2013 and was subsequently nominated for the NAB AFL Rising Star award in his first season.

Since then he has achieved great success, being recognised as a classy medium midfielder with impressive decision-making ability. As of 2023, he has also played over 200 games.

On days out with our participants, he loves to take them to the gym, to the park to kick the footy, and even to the GIANTS HQ! We’re so pumped to have this legend on the crew!
