Matt Cottrell

Matt Cottrell is an Australian rules footballer who plays for the Carlton Football Club in the AFL.

He was recruited by the Carlton Football Club through the 2019 Pre-season supplemental selection period and made his senior AFL debut in 2020.

Later that season, in just his fifth career match, Matt kicked the winning goal two minutes from the final siren in a victory against Sydney.

Off the field, Matt enjoys taking our participants for fun days out bowling or playing golf. He also recently attended our What Ability Day at AAMI Park. We love all the support work Matt is doing in Victoria!
