Experience the excitement of the Supercars Championship at the Gold Coast 500! Watch high-speed racing, explore the event precinct, see the cars up close and take in the atmosphere of the Surfers Paradise street circuit with your support worker and other participants.

This NDIS Community Access activity on the Gold Coast provides an opportunity to experience a major community event, build confidence in busy public spaces and practise navigating a large event environment. It can support NDIS goals around independence, social participation and trying new experiences.

Meet: Surfers Paradise, Gold Coast QLD 4217. Exact meeting location to be confirmed.

Out of Pocket Cost: General Admission from $30. Children 12 and under receive free General Admission when accompanied by a paying adult. Grandstand tickets cost more.

NDIS Cost: Standard Community Access support (1:1)

Sensory Considerations: Very loud racing engines, crowd noise, music and announcements. Large crowds and queues may be overwhelming. Strong food, fuel and exhaust smells may be present, along with bright sunlight, heat and long periods outdoors. Noise-cancelling headphones, sunglasses, sunscreen and regular breaks may be helpful.
