What Ability and our Major Partner, Optus, have just released an insightful and compelling docuseries, ‘The Power of Inclusion’. This docu-series aims to shed light on the importance of fostering a more inclusive society, showcasing inspiring stories, and encouraging meaningful conversations.

The four-episode series explores the stories, experiences, and achievements of individuals and communities that champion inclusivity. Viewers will gain bite-sized insights into the power of passion, community, sportsmanship, family and everyone’s role in creating an inclusive world.

The docuseries will feature interviews with Steve Dresler (What Ability Founder), Matt Formston (Co-Chair of the Optus Disability Network), What Ability support worker and athletes Lauren Cheatle (Sydney Sixers), Lauren Moore (Melbourne Vixens), Mack Horton (Olympic Swimmer) and more!

The docu-series premieres as we head into a second year of partnership. Optus will continue to work together with What Ability in building an inclusive world through inspiring optimism and positivity without boundaries for people living with a disability.

What Ability CEO Jared Chapman commented on the shared values of the two organisations, “Their employees are truly engaged in the partnership and it shows. We’re so grateful to be aligned with the Optus Disability Network, they have embraced our mission to put happiness first for people living with a disability. Optus has been a driving force for positive change, hosting experiences for our participants and their families, and helping What Ability promote inclusion on a national scale through their initiatives.”

What Ability Founder, Steve Dresler said the series “is a testament to both organisations’ shared vision of building an inclusive world which celebrates all abilities every day. This docuseries is a call to action, inviting us all to build a world where differences are not just accepted but embraced.”

“Through these stories, we collectively showcase the positive impact of embracing diversity which will, in turn, foster understanding, and pave the way for an inclusive future.”

‘The Power of Inclusion’ is scheduled to premiere on the 29th Jan 2024 across What Ability social channels.
