What Ability Day brings athletes, families and community together for an inclusive stadium experience filled with games, connection and fun. Our volunteers are the reason it works.
What Ability Day is an inclusive stadium experience where participants living with disability, their families and athletes come together for a morning of games, connection and pure fun. It is high energy, welcoming and built around making every person feel like they belong. None of it happens without our volunteers.
What You’ll Do
As a volunteer, you’ll be part of the team that brings the day to life. You might welcome families as they arrive, support activity zones on the field, help with games or face painting, or assist with set up and pack down behind the scenes. Every role plays a part in creating a safe, positive and memorable experience. You do not need experience in disability support. We provide a briefing on the day. What matters most is kindness, energy and a willingness to be part of something bigger than yourself.
