This NDIS Community Access activity on the Gold Coast is a chance to try golf at an Empower Golf Come and Try clinic at Topgolf Gold Coast in Oxenford.
These clinics are ideal if you’re new to golf, or if you’d like to get back into the game after an accident or illness. Players of all abilities can try golf, the ParaGolfer and other adaptive equipment, with guidance from PGA Professional Grant Garrison and Empower Golf coach Ben Tullipan.
- Meet: 10am at Topgolf Gold Coast, Cnr Roadshow Way and Entertainment Drive, Oxenford
- Out of pocket cost: Free. Places are limited and registration is required. First-time players should email Ben Tullipan at [email protected] to arrange a ticket.
- NDIS cost: Standard Community Access support (1:1)
- Bookings close: The week before the activity
- Sensory considerations: Loud noises from golf balls, clubs and activity nearby, flashing lights, music, food smells, a busy venue and outdoor weather. The activity can be tiring, and waiting between turns may need extra support
