NDIS Community Access supports participants to take part in everyday activities, build independence, and feel more confident in their local community. Sometimes referred to as community access NDIS support, this funding helps you get out, get active and get connected – with a support worker who’s the right fit for you.
We build a team of support workers around your family who work with you on your personal goals, and your interests, while always putting fun first.

Every Community Access booking with What Ability is designed to build confidence, independence and joy. With 1:1 NDIS support, participants can learn practical life skills and take positive steps toward achieving their goals.

Together we’ll create a support plan around your goals, confirm your first booking, and get you set up in our app.

NDIS Community Access is a type of Core Support funding that helps NDIS participants take part in social, recreational and community activities. It can fund support worker assistance to attend classes, clubs, events, appointments and local outings, helping participants build confidence, independence and connections within their community.
The amount of NDIS Community Access funding available, and the activities it can be used for, depends on each participant’s individual NDIS plan, goals and support needs.
