Join us at What Ability Day Perth

Our What Ability Day is a disability inclusive event to meet your local athletes. We’re inviting people living with a disability, and their families, to join us at the stadium for the ultimate day with games, dancing and fun on the field! Volunteer’s role on the day will include packing event bags, face painting and joining in on the fun (eg assisting with games on the field like ball toss or kick the goal).

Sign up as a volunteer!

  • Please arrive at WA Athletics Stadium (Stephenson Ave, Floreat WA 6014) at 9am for the official volunteer briefing. We ask that you stay for the duration of the event which concludes at 12pm.
  • Please wear activewear. You will be given a What Ability event hat to wear on the day.
  • Water and snacks will be available at the event.

To attend the day, we require all volunteers to obtain current Working with Children Check.

The process in Western Australia involves collecting an application from Australia Post and will require you to select a category.  Please select category 10.

The form will also need to be signed by What Ability prior to submission. Your event day lead will liaise with [email protected] to organise a date for a What Ability employee to come the office to sign the applications in a batch.

Once lodged you will receive an application number – you can start volunteering as soon as you have this while the application is processed.  Please send your WWCC application number [email protected] as soon as you receive it. You can send now if you already have a WWCC number.

If you can please send through these details no later than Friday 12th July.

We can’t wait to see you there!
